Hello friends!
I am so excited to finally kick off the Fish Girl Fall Makealong. Summer may be wrapping up, but we’re carrying that whole fishy, fisherman-core vibe straight into fall. Think cozy knits, playful colorwork, textured fisherman sweaters, fishy motifs, sewing projects, beadwork, even painting a fish if you feel inspired. Basically, if it’s creative and a little fish-themed (or fisherman-core inspired), it counts! 
Dates:
September 1st – December 21st (first day of winter)
That gives everyone plenty of time to cast on something new or finish up a WIP you’ve already got swimming around.
What’s included:

Knitting (fish motifs, fisherman’s rib, cables, cozy textures) -
Sewing (like the Mad Made Swim Along bag or a fishy drawstring pouch) -
Beading, crochet, weaving, painting—you name it! -
Anything else that feels fun, creative, and a little bit fishy.
How to participate:

Share your project ideas and WIPs right here in this thread so everyone can be inspired.

Post progress pics along the way, half the fun is seeing each other’s projects grow.

Finished objects? Show them off with pride, we’ll all be cheering you on!

Prizes & Fun Extras:
Ashley (Designed by SewandSew) and I will both be joining in with lots of projects, and we’ll also have some special stitch markers and goodies donated by makers to give away during the MAL.
